During the COVID-19 pandemic, our main concern is putting our members health and safety first. We’ve created the following guidelines for our members based on guidance from the World Health Organization and the BC Centre for Disease Control. We also recommend that you continue to monitor travel advisories and follow all national and local guidelines.
BC Slope Swap has introduced guidelines to help address health and safety concerns, but these measures cannot eliminate all risk. Especially if you are in a higher risk category (e.g. people above the age of 65 or those with pre-existing medical conditions), we recommend obtaining professional guidance and taking extra precautions before choosing to use our service. BC Slope Swap is not liable for any health or safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we try our best to foster a safe community for our members. If you have any questions or concerns about exploring with BC Slope Swap during this time, please contact us.
Here are some safe swapping practices that we expect all members to follow:
When joining BC Slope Swap, members will be asked to read and agree to our safety guidelines before their property can be listed on our site. We require all properties to be checked in-person by a BC Slope Swap representative for approval. In preparation for the property visit, we will send guidelines in advance to keep both members and representatives safe.
